AFC Urgent Care can now see patients from the convenience and safety of their own homes? We want to make sure people who are sick are not jeopardizing their health and are seen by a Doctor! Here is the link for patients to schedule a telehealth call from home:

Because our Urgent Care medical staff and first responders are the most vulnerable people, AFC Urgent Care has to set up a process to protect these healthcare providers so that we are able to continue to treat the communities we serve. Beginning immediately, we are setting up an outdoor tent to be able to screen patients for various symptoms prior to allowing them to enter our buildings and potentially spread any viruses. If our providers are exposed to the COVID-19 virus they would have to be quarantined for 14 days, and would not be able to continue their work at our facilities. We will be able to triage, test, and prescribe as a patient’s situation warrants for non-COVID-19 related illnesses. We simply need to gather some information prior to entering the clinic.

Customers requiring Workers Compensation visits or Occupational Medicine assessments will be welcome in the general waiting area if they are not ill. Please consider utilizing our facilities so that we do not overwhelm the ER’s.

We are implementing an at home video chat (telemedicine) with your local AFC provider through your smartphone or tablet. This AFC telemedicine solution should be up and running by Sunday, March 22nd so that individuals who have questions or minor illness or uncomfortable with going out can do a video conference for evaluation with a highly qualified AFC provider. With a real-time video conference our providers are able to prescribe when necessary. More information to follow in a couple of days.

Patients should go to our website – – where they can select a center that is convenient to them and complete the online registration prior to arriving ensuring that the check in process is as efficient as possible.

Upon arrival, patients will be asked to enter alone unless a caregiver is needed or a minor child is the patient, this is to avoid anyone contracting even minor illnesses in our lobbies. We want to continue to stress the need for “Social Distancing.”

Lastly, we are working with our suppliers to provide the COVID-19 tests, but there are very small quantities available. When and if we are able to provide testing specific to the COVID-19 virus we will be in further communication.

We will continue to provide COVID-19 specific information as it becomes available for ALL of our patients/customers via our website and social media pages. For more information, please visit our website at
